OBISS is a small specialist property inspection company which previously provided a full snagging service with report in Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.

What is Snagging

A snag is a small defect or problem that remains inside or outside your new home or extension after the building work has been completed.  It is typically something that is damaged or broken, not fitted properly, or looks unfinished, such as chipped paintwork, or badly fitted door handles, for example. Most are cosmetic, however some can be more serious, such as major cracks in brickwork, or ill-fitting doors.

Snagging is the process of inspecting new building work for minor defects that need to be rectified. The purpose of a Snagging Report is to identify snags in your home for your housebuilder to rectify. You can put together your own report with the help of OBISS.
